Dr. Garrett Webster is a board certified ophthalmologist and a graduate from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston, TX at one of the largest medical centers in the world. After working in a large, busy practice in South Georgia, Dr. Webster has come back to Beaufort – growing up fishing/shrimping the coast and where he and his wife were married in 2014. Dr. Webster is trained in comprehensive ophthalmology, specializing in cataract surgery, including laser assisted cataract surgery and premium lenses. Recently, he and his surgical staff at Beaufort Memorial Hospital put in Beaufort’s first ever Extended Depth of Focus Lens “Vivity IOL” from Alcon – the newest technology available for patients. He is also certified in lasik surgery. Dr. Webster grew up in Jackson, SC and is a proud Gamecock alum. He also enjoys many hobbies such as beekeeping, citrus grafting and growing, fishing/shrimping, hunting and managing livestock. Dr. Webster is married to his wife Sydney, has two beautiful daughters, and a new baby boy born in March 2021.
